Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film generally within the horror or martial arts genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and an obsession with the genre. Her first review was in 2009, and gained some respect from their forums under her old username Obscurus lupa. In 2010 she joined the Channel Awesome Family. She was on the website until 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts on her channel both covering the Charmed series and co-hosted together with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. See her videos on YouTube and Vimeo. Her Twitter account, Tumblr page and Facebook accounts also feature videos. Allison is too much for you? Ninja the Mission Force shows her on the move in the role of Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also starred her. She's appeared in Brad Jones's series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing horrible children's movies as well as RiffTrax Live Shows, as well as occasional adult comedies (such as Baywatch 2017). She started reviewing films in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining recognition through the Channel Awesome forums before officially joining the group of reviewers on Channel Awesome. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker as well as Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
