Allie Clifton

Allie Clifton, a sports broadcaster at Spectrum Sports Net, is now in her fifth season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Allie Clifton was an Emmy-winning sportscaster with more than ten years' expertise in sideline reporting as well as sports journalism. She also has played competitive basketball for over 10 years. Before becoming a part of Spectrum Sports Net, Allie was a sideline reporter for FOX Sports Ohio's Cleveland Cavaliers telecasts, sideline reporter for the Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers), sports reporter on 13 ABC Action News (WTVG) and color analyst as well as sideline reporter for high school as well as NCAA basketball, volleyball, and track & field, on track & field and volleyball on Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN). Clifton was born in Ohio and was awarded a Bachelor's as well as master's degrees from The University of Toledo in Sport Analysis and Communication and in Liberal Studies. Allie, who had outstanding high school basketball success during her time at Van Wert High School that included playing as captain of her school's only ever league title, went on to shine as a student at UT. She was the captain in 2010 for the team, part of the Mid-American Conference West Division, in winning the title. Clifton is also a veteran of The Q.
